You can hardly find any other storied club venues in Eastern Europe like Yalta Club – the pinnacle of club culture and electronic dance music in Bulgaria. The roots of Sofia’s best dancefloor can be traced back to 1959, when the it opened its doors for the first time and remained the coolest place to be in town for the next sixty years. The famed history of the club speaks for itself. Right after the fall of communism in 1989, Yalta became the first place in Bulgaria, dedicated to electronic music and thus a tradition has been set firmly. Since then, Yalta has served as a home away from home for some of the brightest techno and house masters incl. Dixon, Âme, Apollonia, Marco Carola, Ricardo Villalobos, Adam Beyer, Nina Kraviz, Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Howells, Recondite, Danny Tenaglia, Victor Calderone and many, many more.
