The best part about traveling to most of the Islands in the Caribbean, like many other destinations, is that you are given the option to either relax in a serene atmosphere or party it up (or do a bit of both). When I visited Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, I chose the eventful, party route of escapades and scoped out the best clubs. Here are some must-attend venues for those of you party people ever planning a trip to the unforgettable island.
The interior of Imagine was fascinating. Because it was once a cave, the walls and ceilings are all made of rock and the black lights are placed throughout, giving it a non-dungeon feel. There is a dance floor in the center of the main room where it gets pretty sweaty! The bottle service was definitely worth it here to avoid the crowds.
ORO is located in the Hard Rock hotel. Of all the clubs in Punta Cana, it resembles a Vegas nightclub the most. The decor and female dancers on pedestals give you that Vegas feel, but the music is more of a mix between pop and EDM.
Coco Bongo is unlike anything I'd ever experienced. It's a combination of an acrobatic circus show with a nightclub. The performers switch between themes so the act might be a battle between superheroes, a trapeze artist showcasing talents, dancers or something else but its all wicked cool and very engaging.
